AMBA will be conducting Barley Variety Identification Workshops in Fargo, ND on October 18 & 19, 2006. AMBA also plans to hold workshops in Idaho Falls, ID on October 23, 2006 and Great Falls, MT on October 25, 2006. Links to registration materials can be found below.

The workshops will focus on utilization of barley variety identification techniques based on differences in kernel morphology. Those attending the workshops should bring a good quality hand lens (5X to 10X) and forceps. Scott Heisel, AMBA Vice President & Technical Director, will conduct the workshops.

The workshops will begin at 9:00 a.m. and should conclude by 3:00 p.m. Lunch will be included with the workshops.
