AMBA will be conducting Barley Variety Identification Workshops in Idaho Falls, ID on October 20, 2009 and Great Falls, MT on October 22, 2009. AMBA also will conduct two one day workshops in Fargo, ND on November 9 & 10, 2009. Links to registration materials can be found below.

Workshops will be limited to the first 25 to sign up.

The workshops will focus on utilization of barley variety identification techniques based on differences in kernel morphology. Those attending the workshops should bring a good quality hand lens (5X to 10X) and forceps. Scott Heisel, AMBA Vice President & Technical Director, will conduct the workshops.

The workshops will begin at 9:00 a.m. and should conclude by 3:00 p.m. Lunch will be included with the workshops.
